We at Petroshops Ltd are currently looking for a dedicated Area Sales Representative to join our rapidly growing business.

The position will be part-time, working 4 days a week and will cover the east of Scotland and central belt.

Petroshops Ltd, established in 1987, specialises in supplying forecourt and retail shops throughout Scotland.


About the Role.

The Area Sales Representative is an exciting role, focussed on visiting existing customers, providing cover for colleague's holiday absence, and generating new business.

The successful applicant will be travelling throughout Scotland maintaining an existing client base whilst also developing new business by introducing yourself and arranging meetings with potential clients.

The successful applicant will be working independently on a day-to-day basis, however support will be offered, when needed, by Head Office and the existing Area Sales Representatives.

Duties & Responsibilities.

• Sales calls to new and existing customers
• Maintain good client relationships.
• Introducing yourself and the company to potential customers
• Negotiating with clients
• Ensure customer satisfaction and follow up on sales activity.
• Merchandising when necessary.
• Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports.
• Participate in sales events.

Skills and Experience Required.

• Previous experience in a similar role (Essential)
• Clean driving license (Essential)
• Excellent communication, sales, and negotiation skills.
• An understanding of technology e.g. tablets, laptops etc.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Effective diary management skills

A company car, phone and tablet will be provided.

Due to our customers being spread all throughout Scotland, overnight stays in hotels may be necessary.

Base salary is £28,000 per annum.
