Pre-Sales Systems Engineer - Telecoms Company - Surrey - £55,000

Technology is partnered with a leading Telecommunications company who are currently looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis.

The purpose of this role is to role is to assist in the design and managementof the clients infrastructure, including requirements capture, capacity planning, link budget design, hub IP network design, traffic shaping, traffic acceleration, VoIP, traffic monitoring/detection and systems management.

Key Accountabilities

Work with sales team to identify, cultivate, and close sales opportunities.
Present product Demonstrations, Proof of Concepts, and product presentations.
Technical responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, problem identification, systems architecture definition, hardware/software specification, design, implementation, testing, client training and solution deployment.
Develop a thorough understanding of clients' needs and lead the benefit/value proposition of our Solutions to support those needs.
Identify additional product/services opportunities in customer organization.
Manage customer interaction and engagement, including project scoping, Statement of Work development, deliverable documentation and followup.
To evaluate customer RFPs & requirements and produce high quality & compliant engineering responses including network designs and solutions.
To develop/evaluate innovative, costsensitive and highly effective solutions/new technologies/products to the business's portfolio.
To support Account Managers in dealings with customers on engineering issues, attend meetings and conduct demonstrations in support of Sales.
To provide accurate and timely technical information or analyses on a variety of engineering investigations.
To present/discuss solutions to both technical and nontechnical customer audiences.
To own, investigate and resolve escalated engineering service issues.
To mobilise at short notice to survey, install or configure customer networks.
