ABOUT THE ROLE


In this exciting role you'll have the opportunity to work with multiple stakeholders and play an important part in maximizing the potential of digital content management systems and processes.

You'll work within a diverse and enthusiastic team who are embracing new ideas and ways of working.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively advise on appropriate content management approaches
  • Ensure that processes are carried out consistently and efficiently
  • Establish and ensure that best practices are followed for use of digital content management systems
  • Provide expert support to internal and external users
  • Ensure that identified reuse of assets will be legally compliant
  • Identify and establish appropriate reporting on digital content management related data
  • Working with business stakeholders to establish and maintain a suite of KPI reports
  • Produce content asset management process training materials and deliver facetoface and virtual training on digital content management systems
  • With divisional stakeholders, establish new workflows which underpin the asset management governance for storage, retrieval, and correction.
  • Ensuring reusable assets are appropriate aligning with intellectual property rights.
  • Promoting the reuse of assets to support business efficiency.
  • Identify and help manage user change impacts relating to the implementation and rollout of new digital content management system features.
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.

You'll be a highly organised individual who is committed to continuous improvement and is eager to develop new ideas.

You will also have the following:

Essential:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships
  • Confidence in working with new systems and technology with the ability to learn
  • Be approachable, capable and considerate in supporting users with processes and systems
  • Have file management experience
  • Have knowledge of content metadata

Desirable:

  • Training experience
  • Experience working with digital content across academic and/or educational publishing.
