What You will Do

  • Collaborate with local operations and IT teams to set up, test, train, and oversee successful daily AV system functionality.
  • Coordinate with event schedulers to ensure timely setup and operation of audio, visual, lighting, and integrated technologies required during highprofile meetings and live events.
  • Play an active role in live event production including AV system setup, rehearsal, production design and assisting, directing, monitoring, and teardown.
  • Identify, schedule, and manage vendors for successful infrastructure setup, operation, and teardown of AV systems for live events.
  • Assume responsibility for training local Slalom users, clients, and guests on proper use and best practices with AV systems.
  • Create, manage, and update internal AV knowledge base and customer facing documentation and use guides.
  • Work with IT Support and Infrastructure Technology engineers to relay, triage, resolve, and test AV system issues and planned maintenance.
  • Assist in new product design by working with Infrastructure Technology engineers to collect user feedback on system features, availability, and functionality.
  • Travel to EMEA Slalom offices to train local employees, oversee live events, and validate system functionality % travel expected)
  • Afterhours event support is to be expected
  • This role is physical in nature
  • Office based

What You will Bring

  • Ability to work autonomously in an outcome based professional services organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate and manage event or broadcast productions at a technical level.
  • Proven history of successful production design and assisting in a live AV setting.
  • Deep knowledge of various AV systems and technologies including design, configuration, function, troubleshooting, and best practices. (Crestron, QSC, Logi, JBL, Poly, Biamp, Microsoft Teams Rooms Windows/Android, etc.)
  • Understanding of web conferencing and live video technologies (Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc.)

  • Experience in the audiovisual or broadcasting industry
  • Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
  • Commercial Audio Technician (CAT)
  • Live Events Professional
  • Crestron Core
  • Q-SYS
  • Microsoft Teams Administrator
