Are you fully qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) and looking for the next step in your career?Maybe you have worked as a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant or Finance Manager and ready to progress to Financial Controller?Ifso we would absolutely love to hear from you.
In this wonderful opportunity you will work in a busy, buzzy, clean and highly technical manufacturing site.You will have regular communication with the manufacturing department and management to ensure continuous improvement and efficiencies.
You will be an integral part of the UK leadership team and report into the Managing Director.
You lead and develop you own finance team of 5.Importantly you will have access to the support and the expertise of the Finance Director who is a Qualified Accountantand has been with the business for over 20 years.
Working in this very established and growing business you will benefit from a brilliant business culture which support the wellbeing of its team.4 days will be worked at the modern factory and should you choose 1 day can be worked from your home office.
Financial Controller job duties- Business partner in delivering company strategy, ensuring excellent financial health
- Management accounts
- Commentary
- P&L's
- Cash flow statements
- Balance sheets
- Key KPI's
- Drive Insightful analysis & modelling
- Suppliers
- Profitability
- Investments
- Working Capital
- Review and control the costings across the supply chain
- Lead the annual budget preparation & continually monitor performance with departments and managers.
- Manage Finance team of
- Oversee all financial aspects of the company (both manufacturing and commercial), ensuring accurate & timely monthly / quarterly / annual reporting
The person:
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience as a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant, Finance Manager or similar
- Looking to progress your career to Financial Controller
- Have an interest in manufacturing and logistics processes
- Training & development will be provided as you look to further your career.
- Enjoys working in a busy finance team and communicating at all levels across a business.
- Proactive & flexible approach

- Strategic & commercial thinker with the ability to drive improvements
