My client, a renowned media company based in
FARRINGDON, is seeking an accomplished
SENIOR ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT to join them whilst they experience an incredible period of growth

THE ROLE

Responsible for the Payables function of all foreign business units (Singapore, USA, Europe)
Responsible for input of all invoices, credit notes and receipts making sure all are processed and fully allocated on a timely basis.
Process invoices, confirming that they match with PO
Follow up for invoices received without a PO with internal stakeholders
Monitor the AP Inbox ensuring all queries are resolved and issues are escalated
Supplier statement reconciliations.
Month end deadlines, closing Purchase Ledger
Month end Journals.
Ensure accurate payment runs and minimize ad hoc payments
Weekly Bank reconciliations in multicurrency
Responsible for making sure that Aged Creditors is fully reconciled, payment terms are regularly checked, and inaccurate balances are fixed.
Setup of new suppliers and manage master vendor data
Prepare employees' expenses and monthend
Help with monthend close, responsible for monthend accruals and prepayments ensuring costs are recorded in the appropriate month.
Provide supporting documentation for audits and respond to external auditor inquiries
Assist Management with ad hoc projects

THE RIGHT PERSON

You must have experience of working in a
multientity environment
You must have experience of working in a
multicurrency, fast paced environment.
Has experience of working in a deadline driven, strong internal control environment
Advanced Excel skills with PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and Data Tables.
Good understanding of the General Ledger, double entry bookkeeping, and accounting payable principles.
Highly beneficial to have knowledge of SAP and Concur
Confident in using initiative and being selfsufficient whilst carrying out tasks
