Linux Technical Support Engineer - Permanent

Fully Remote (quarterly office visits)

£30,000 - £35,000 + Benefits

Key responsibilities

  • Perform deployments via predefined Azure Devops pipelines to release software to various environments
  • Collaborate closely with third party developers to perform BAU activities such as running SQL scripts, Reviewing PM2 logs, Creating UAT environments
  • Code review changes from third party developers paying particular attention to any security concerns and ensure GIT branching strategy is correct
  • Participate in daily stands up with client to confirm priority tasks for day and deliver any updates on work being carried out
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other team members and to technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Manage tasks effectively and accurately track and report on status of your work raising any issues you encounter

Skills/Experience

Essential

  • Linux OS preferably Ubuntu
  • Node JS
  • Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL
  • Terminal / Shell/ BASH
  • GIT

Desirable

  • Ember JS
  • MongoDB


  • NGINX, PM

  • PowerShell
  • React
  • Knowledge of HTML, front end JavaScript and CSS
  • Azure Devops Pipelines
