Seeking a Trainee Window and Door fitter to join our busy, successful, small, independent, family-run double glazing and building company.
Role requirements:
- Live within a 15mile radius of Hemel Hempstead.
- Previous knowledge/experience of windows/door fitting is not necessary, but a willingness and enthusiasm to learn a new trade is vital.
- A full clean UK driving license is preferable, but not essential.
- Excellent customer service skills, be polite, reliable, and presentable as you will be working in customers' houses.
- Good timekeeping.
- Must be physically fit as some lifting involved and working on ladders.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- 7 am pm Monday to Friday.
Desirable:
- Ideally you will have some background experience in the construction industry.
- Carpentry experience desirable, but not essential.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the removal of old windows, doors, conservatories etc. with hand and power tools and the fitting of new windows, doors, bifolding doors, lantern roofs, porches, conservatories, and orangeries etc.
- Keeping the site clean and tidy.
- Working in UPVC, aluminum and hardwood.

- Good rates of pay and immediate start available.
- Starting your day at our premises in Hemel Hempstead and then travelling to work in various desirable properties and locations.
- Varied and interesting work.
- Uniform and PPE provided.
- Work all yearround Monday to Friday.
- Weekend work when available. (not compulsory)
