Business Development Executive

General engineering, manufacturing, and metal fabrication.

Worcestershire

Salary circa £35,000, plus commission and bonus potential

We are working with a well run and respected metal fabrication business who are supplying quality products to a wide range of OEMS in several sectors, including automotive and off highway. There are in a period of growth and are keento capitaliseon this by bringing in a customer and relationship management professional who can maximise every opportunity that comes into the business.


As the Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for developing new business and lead these projects to deliver on performance and growth targets.


  • Develop market strategies by researching high potential prospects and visit potential and existing clients in person across the UK.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers.
  • Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision makers.
  • Manage enquiries with our sales administrator ensuring a high standard of customer service is delivered via consultative selling and that set processes are adhered to.
  • Give accurate information, advice, and guidance to prospective customers relating to capacity, capabilities and solutions.


You will positively manage the customer sales cycle, from receipt of enquiry through to quoting within the CRM system to production handover.


It is expected you will conduct field-based activities to sustain and grow accounts, and when required, to organise and attend networking events.


Working with the Operations Director and Managing Director you will develop clear monthly forecasts from new and existing business and communicate with the team.

You will become a pivotal member of the team, contributing to the marketing aspect of thebusiness. Fully responsible for driving sales activity by a pre-defined list of customer accounts.


You will be accountable for implementing and managing a growth strategy across all current and potential customer accounts and be responsible for actively seeking out new business opportunities and developing those accounts.
