Role Overview
Role Description
- Manage the relationship with external tax advisors
- Strong tax accounting skills under FRS 102/ IFRS, and experience of group consolidations.
- Prepare and maintain transfer pricing policy
- Verify the CT calculations prepared by external advisors
- Advise and help with the preparation of VAT quarterly return and partial exemption method
- Advise and help with the preparation of FATCA and CRS returns
- Receive and handle all HM Revenue & Customs communications
- Advise and help getting tax advice on variety of tax queries in relation to withholding tax, FTT (financial transaction tax), income tax, corporation tax, etc
Essential Skills / Experience:
- Ideally an accountancy qualification
- At least 3 years' experience as Tax Manager in the finance industry (ideally investment banking/brokerage)
- FATCA and CRS experience
- Strong analytical and organisational abilities
- Experience in handling a broad range of responsibilities
- Selfstarter; handson; diligent and proactive. Experience of working in a fastgrowing environment and the ability to demonstrate the flexibility required in this situation would be a distinct positive.
