An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven physiotherapist to join our Community Therapy Teams as a

Physiotherapy Team Lead on a permanent basis - 30 hours a week.

This post offers a fantastic opportunity to be involved in leading and developing these progressive and committed community therapy teams;

The Hospital at Home therapy team provides short term rapid response therapy intervention in order to facilitate hospital discharges and prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.


The Locality Teams provides excellent longer term goal orientated therapy rehabilitation and discharge to assess services in patients homes and across bedded units.


Therapists in all teams work closely with primary and secondary health and social care colleagues to offer an integrated approach to patient care, embracing the care closer to home and 'Home First' models of management.

The post holder will have a split clinical and managerial role.

The clinical role will require them to have in-depth expertise in community rehabilitation and be able to support the teams promoting the highest standards of physiotherapy management.


The post holder will need to develop strong leadership skills to lead the physiotherapy and therapy support staff and have a vision for further development of community services.

Duties will include staff management, caseload management, recruitment, induction, appraisal, supervision, training and service development.

Support will be available from Heads of service and the post holders will work closely with the Occupational Therapy Team Leads and B7 Physiotherapy Clinical Specialists.

The ability to transport yourself and equipment across the county is required for this vacancy.
