The Role

Based in the School of Pharmacy you will participate fully in the School's range of teaching and research activities.

You should have experience of teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students and be able to contribute specialist knowledge relevant to medicinal chemistry within a pharmacy provision that complements the growing teaching and research interests of the School.

We are particularly interested in attracting individuals who are pharmacists and have experience of working within a School of Pharmacy or equivalent industrial experience.

Applicants should contact the Head of School to discuss this in more detail if they would like clarification on what is expected within the role from both a teaching and research perspective.

The School of Pharmacy benefits from being an integral part of the Faculty of Medical Sciences with strong teaching and research links to colleagues in medicine, biomedical sciences, nutrition, sports science, dentistry, psychology and chemistry, alongside our three research institutes.

Previous applicants need not apply.

The University holds a silver Athena SWAN award in recognition of our good employment practices for the advancement of gender equality, and the University holds the HR Excellence in Research award for our work to support the career development of our researchers.
