Archer are currently looking for a part time (3 days per week) HSE Advisor based in our Blackburn office for 6 months


The role will:

  • Provide advice, guidance and information concerning safety, health and environmental issues, existing and proposed legislation, codes of practice and industry standards.
  • Coordinate contractual HSE deliverables with customer and Archer contractors
  • Liaise with external bodies such as enforcing authorities, legislative agencies, industry organisations so that the project remains informed and can plan for change.
  • Conduct risk assessments, developing HSE Plans, interface documentation and other relevant documentation in support of the project, client, Archer contractors and product lines
  • Carry out internal and external HSE audits of offshore/onshore worksites and any contractor/subcontractor activities.
  • Compile monthly HSE reports on project HSE performance.

_Education_

  • Good level of English
  • NEBOSH Certificate level as minimum
  • Lead Auditor qualification preferred
  • Lead investigation training i.e. TopSet/TapRoot
  • Offshore BOSIET / MIST
  • OEUK Medical

_Experience:

  • Computer literate
  • Previous experience in a similar role
