Purchase Ledger Clerk - Urgently Needed


Pay Bracket:
£24,000 - £26,000 + paid overtime if wanted

Working for an Eccles-based charity focused on bettering lives of those in the local community, Four Recruitment are hiring an experienced purchase ledger clerk.

This role covers end to end purchase ledger with and great lifestyle benefits, working for anaward-winning organisation.

Working within a close-knit team, you will work collaboratively to ensure the smooth running of the accounts function.

We are looking for someone with great communication skills and a personable nature - being able to work with all areas of the businessand external parties.


Your main roles and responsibilities:

Your role will be to manage the purchase ledger function end to end, working directly alongside the FC.

  • Full Purchase Ledger function, processing purchase orders and invoices
  • Arranging payment runs and setting up new suppliers
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Query resolution and management, being the main point of contact for suppliers to the business and managing relationships with quality and care
  • Good awareness of company cashflow and managing payment runs
  • Ensuring timely payments adhering to 30day terms
  • Having a keen eye for detail, spotting discrepancies, and chasing for additional invoices and information where required
  • Minimum experience of 2 years in a similar position
  • Working knowledge of Excel on the daytoday basis pivot tables and vlookups
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skill
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure financial records are accurate and correct payments are processed
