Join us as our UK Institutional Sales Director

  • We're looking for someone to sell authorised NatWest Markets products to approved NatWest Markets clients
  • Daytoday, you'll be undertaking financial institution coverage, including delivering trade ideas and your insight on efficient execution and market colour
  • This is your opportunity to explore your leadership potential and make an impact through your work as part of C&I to provide input into the financial institutions customer segment
  • This role is as advertised as Director, however we'll also consider applicants at Vice President level

What you'll do:

As our UK Institutional Sales Director, you'll be developing relationships on the customer side at senior level. You'll also create a profitable stream of business with due regard for risk and balance sheet utilisation.


You'll also be responsible for:

  • Matching client needs with relevant products, tailored client solutions and engagement with relevant Centres of Excellence and knowledge across RBS and NatWest Markets
  • Supporting and maintaining a robust risk control environment
  • Implementing a client focus through our business, communications, and client engagement strategy

The skills you'll need:


To be successful in this role, a good knowledge and understanding of interest rate products would be advantageous, as well as foreign language skills.


You'll also need:

  • Experience in the foreign exchange, ideally in a sales or execution role
  • Broad product knowledge of electronic cash execution through to derivative strategies
  • A good understanding of macroeconomic trends
