The shift pattern for this position is Mon - Friday.You will join a team providing a clinical physics and bio-engineering service to health care establishments.
You will join the Medical Equipment Management section based at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary (GRI) and join the team managing medical equipment in Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Princess Royal Maternity (PRM).
The service includes the installation, commissioning, calibration, performance assurance and repair of a wide range of complex medical equipment within GRI and PRM.
Registration with the Register for Clinical Technologists (RCT) or other appropriate professional body, is desirable.
Significant demonstrable experience as a Practitioner Clinical Technologist (Medical Physics) evidenced either through successful completion of IPEM Diploma / Diploma in Healthcare Technology Management / Membership of the Register of Clinical Technologists or equivalent training.
- Practical experience of repair and maintenance on a broad range of complex medical equipment.
- Experience of a range of equipment management processes.
- Application of technology to medical equipment in healthcare.
- Communication with other healthcare professionals
