Salary:
£25,000 to £27,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Working Hours: 35 Hours per week

Location:
London Based, SW1V - Hybrid Working

The Role

The purpose of this role is to support the Planning, Grant Management and Impact team, primarily the Senior Planning, Performance and Funding Manager in principally administrative related activities.

The role provides the coordination and administrative support to ensure a high quality and effective planning and performance management function for WorldSkills UK, coordinating the organisation's annual, operational and project plans and the associated performance monitoring, risk review and reporting activities.

What will you be doing?

  • Coordinating the production of monthly performance reports and scorecards against plans and communications to key internal groups to improve recognition of achievements, monitor alignment with key public policies and early identification of issues
  • Basic data analysis and reporting to contribute to quantitative performance monitoring and reporting
  • Providing drafts of reports to advise the Senior Planning, Performance and Funding Manager, Deputy CEO, SLT and Board on key developments
  • Preparing and coordinating the production of monthly, quarterly and annual reports of performance against government grant funding agreements from the Department for Education (DfE) and Devolved Nations demonstrating achievements against objectives and high value for money for public funds
  • Supporting on the fulfilment of key grant requirements against specific areas including technical areas such as intellectual property and legal conditions
  • Diarising meetings with key stakeholders and other WorldSkills UK teams and directorates
  • Answering queries and information requests from colleagues
  • Working with the Evaluation Manager on contracts and delivery plans for consultants
  • General file management
  • Creating agendas, minute taking and monitoring actions for regular and adhoc meetings

What can you bring to the team?

  • Ability to accurately record and extract data and information on spreadsheets and databases, with good attention to detail
  • Ability to analyse data and information and to report and present findings in a variety of forms to different audiences
  • Ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to provide comprehensive diary management and coordination across multiple teams and organisations
  • Strong knowledge of administrative procedures such as sharing and recording files, developing spreadsheets and responding to business enquiries
  • Strong and accurate written and oral communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of coordination skills in an office environment, including working remotely/ hybrid working
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, the internet and CRM systems
  • Very reliable with a high level of probity
  • Respect for equity, diversity and inclusion with practical ideas for their implementation within the scope of the post
  • Prepared occasionally to work outside normal hours
  • Prepared to travel within the United Kingdom
  • Able to spend time away from home
