An exciting opportunity has become available for a Handyman/Painter & Decorator to join a young, fast growing company.We are looking for a motivated person that has extensive experience in the Handyman & Painting & Decorating field, to join our ever growing team on a self employed basis and with the desire for long-term work.
Our company is a multiple trade property service company based in Crawley, West Sussex and covering the Surrey & Sussex area.
Responsibilities:
- Be fluent in English speaking as you will be meeting different clients on a daily basis.
- MUST have a full driving licence and a van or car (Essential)
- Be aware of surroundings at all times and maintain a professional working manner at all times.
- Perform various trade tasks such as plastering, and all things painting & decorating
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on residential and commercial properties
- Respond to service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner
- Have knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations
- Ability to work as part of a team and also as an individual.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
Experience:
- Proven experience in plastering, and painting & decorating
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Have previous work experience and be able to provide 2 references on request.
- Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a valid CIS
- MUST have your own tools
- Uniform provided

Salary:
£150.00-£170.00 per day
