Are you an experienced Internal Sales Team Leader? Looking for that new opportunity working for a market leading supplier and well-known brand within the heavyside industry? We are currently recruiting for an exciting Internal Sales Team Leadervacancy to operate from our clients branch in Leyland.

Your New Role
To further develop and grow a brand and service that becomes the 'go to' player in the supply of stone, aggregates & construction products
- To take the lead and drive the Internal Sales function
- Mentor and motivate a team of 2 Internal Sales to ensure sales targets are achieved
- To be the first point of contact to best assist the customers
- 50% Develop and maintain existing customer relationships, building rapport and up selling
- 50% drive new business generating and following up on new leads
- Work in tandem with external sales team to target new and lapsed customers to enhance sales
- To act as a main contact between the Company and its customer and supplier networks.
- To develop customer and supplier leads, tracking locations and availability of products.
- To negotiate/renegotiate supply rates for aggregates, stone and all other materials
- Negotiate confidently and chase up and record all possible sales opportunities.
- Where required negotiate and arrange delivery options for the customer.
- Prepare and finalise quotations/proposals and close out sales enquiries.
- Achieve service levels that promote repeat business
- Undertake direct selling to source new customers building key customer contact information and build new business relationships.
- Contribute towards the achievement of individual and team product sales targets.
- Communicates effectively with other departments to ensure pricing structure is adhered to
- Keeps up to date on all business sales and has an excellent awareness of the business goals and sales direction.
- Able to take the lead in exploring new business sectors and products
- Support positively and attend/participate in all Company events e.g. exhibitions & networking events

- Understanding of the customer base
- Understanding of aggregates/stone is essential
- Ability to motivate a team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly organised and efficient
- Professional and courteous manner
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to juggle tasks and prioritise
- Selfmotivated takes responsibility to make things happen
- Quick thinking and able to make a decision to solve problems
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
Salary:
Up to £35,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
