An esteemed and forward thinking charity who successfully delivers a number of temporary accommodation and tenancy support services across Wales is looking for a skilled Homeless Prevention Worker to join their team in Llanelli.

Joining a high performing team, you will be at the forefront of the charities mission to combat and prevent homelessness and ensure every individual is living comfortably and safely.

Primarily, you will be visiting service users in their homes or supporting them on the phone offering detailed and specific advice surrounding benefit entitlement, budgeting, resettlement and accessing employment, education or training opportunities.

You will assess the needs of each case and work with clients to develop personalised support plans that empower individuals to make informed choices and achieve their goals.

Furthermore, you will act as an advocate for individuals when required and link them in to other support services.

Our client is looking for someone who understands the challenges faced by people who are threatened with homelessness, homeless or have difficulties in managing a tenancy.

You will be a compassionate and resilient individual, comfortable working independently.
