About the role

Advantage Healthcare are looking for experienced healthcare assistants, who are compassionate, kind and supportive, to become part of our proud team.

We require support in the Durham area, for a young boy with complex needs. Staff supporting this young boy will provide support within his school environment Monday

Friday 4.15 hours per day.

As part of the support team at Advantage you will be responsible for:

Providing excellent person-centred care in a sensitive and confidential manner., seeking clarification from the healthcare coordinator or clinical lead nurse when required to do so.
Being able to work in a professional manner with all healthcare professionals involved in the care of the service user.

The service user requires support with the following, assistance with tracheostomy care, mobility, administration of medication as instructed in the care plan (this can include, monitoring self-medication, the prompting of medication and the administrationof medication) and personal care.
