Responsibilities:

Adhere to the site rules as briefed to them by the Site Supervisor /Site Manager

Challenge any unauthorised access to the work area allocated to them ensuring unauthorised/nonessential personnel are prevented from entering by means briefed to them by the Site Supervisor.

Engage with their Work Party Leader and within their teams to:

Proactively work with Work Party Leader to foresee any potential health, safety, environmental and quality issues in their work area and remove them when identified.
Identify any issues in other work areas to their own Work Party Leader or the Work Party Leader for that activity.
Comply with the Health and Safety, Environmental & Quality Plans and know their duties to be discharged in each case. Carrying out actions and assist in creating required documentation within the project milestone dates.
Assist in the production of method statements and risk assessments, stopping work and reviewing RAMS with the Work Party Leader if required.
Coordinate with other work parties to ensure efficient and safe working by all.
Proactively engage with the Work Party Leader raising any issues that could impact on the efficient and safe installation of their activities within the project including any variation to the scope of work, actively seeking solutions.
Works to all applicable Procedures as briefed in the site induction.
Actively engage in a culture of openness and a willingness to listen to others when best practice is shared with them. Highlight any best practice they see to their Work Party Leader.
Attend toolbox talks, daily point of work risk assessments and safety briefings held by their Work Party Leader or Site Supervisor, recording attendance and giving constructive feedback.
Proactively participate in the completion of all task cards allocated to their team to the required timescale and comply with timesheet and expenses submission timescales.
