Duration: 6-12 months + potential to go permanent


Shifts:

Mornings & Afternoon Shifts Rotating - 37 hours per week


Start Date:

ASAP
We are currently recruiting for a number of Fabricator Welders for a large Engineering company based in Derby. This contract is 6-12 months with the potential to go permanent upon completion of the contract.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Mainly MIG welding but will also be TIG.
  • Fabricating electrical and mechanical assembly units and cabinets from start to finish
  • Cutting, folding and fabricating sheet metal assemblies for rolling stock
  • Jig work some MIG on mild steel
  • Forming and finishing materials to a high standard using grinders and air tools
  • Basic assembly riveting, installing nutserts, drilling, bolting

Shifts:

Mornings - 06:00 to 14:00 (06:00 to 11:00 on Fridays)

Afternoons - 14:00 to 22:00 (11:00 to 16:00 on Fridays)

Pay Rates (per hour):


PAYE
Mornings - £14.89
Afternoons - £16.00
OT1 - £17.24
OT2 - £20.69


UMBRELLA
Mornings - £18.76
Afternoons - £20.20
OT1 - £21.82
