Role Overview


We are currently recruiting for an Area Chef Manager to join our passionate and driven Catering team based at our client's site.

Key Responsibilities:


  • To support the achievement of the company goals of fantastic food and service, maximising sales, site retention and achieving profitability levels for our clients and company.
  • To support the achievement of the operation's team departmental goals of:
  • Operating and retaining profitable businesss
  • Maximising team members and client relationships
  • Consistently exceeding expectations of food and service standards
  • Management and control for all food production in the site you are covering, over all shifts and in line with company standards and specifications
  • Conducting full cash handovers at the commencement of cover and again at the end of the cover period
  • Completion of all company bookwork in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain local personnel records including all absenteeism/ holidays/ training, whilst covering that unit
  • Induction for new starters and delivery of the statutory unit training plan for the rest of the team whilst covering that unit

About You:


  • Qualifications needed: 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalents
  • Must have suitable chef and management experience, preferably in the contract catering industry
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be willing to work 5 days over 7, variable shifts
  • Must have own transport and full driver's license
