Chappell Enterprises are recruiting for a full-time Arborist Climber on a permanent contract of 47.5 hours per week to be based in Huntingdon.

Monday to Friday with a 6.30am to 7.30am starts

With an hourly rate of £12 to £14
**As an Arborist Climber, you'll join our experienced tree team and play a key role in delivering frontline quality arboriculture services competently and safely to our clients, ensuring high standards are met in line with BS3998:2010, and incorporatingour client's business values.

** Person specification:

  • Relevant and demonstrable experience within the Arboriculture industry and ability to work to industry best practices.
  • Highly selfmotivated, with the ability to work functionally within a team.
  • Organizational skills and ability to use your own initiative.
  • The ability to problemsolve and implement resolutions swiftly.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills with colleagues, managers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake a wide range of arboricultural works as both grounds person and climber.
  • Ensure all works are carried out to the standard of BS3998:2010.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and submit daily check sheets on vehicles and equipment, as well as record trigger time for HAVS, and complete weekly LOLER checks.
  • Ensure that safe methods of working are conducted in accordance with company and site policies at all times.

Essential skills/qualifications:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • NPTC units CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39

Desirable skills/qualifications:

  • NPTC unit CS4
  • IPAF
  • Emergency First Aid at Work + Forestry First Aid
