Night Shift Operator (Sertabusch Operator)/The Company:
We are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Operator (Sertabusch Operator) for our Client based in St Helens.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing business and become part of an exciting new investment.

Dependent on the specific skill level required at the time of recruitment, previous experience in the powder coating industry may not be required but is advantageous.


Purpose of the role:


The Sertabush Operative position is key in the cycle of producing cabinets to ensuring the product is ready for the next stages in the process.

The tasks completed must be to the required standards, work flow processes and specific order requirements.


The Sertabush Operative
/ Responsibilities:


  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Understand route cards
  • Select the appropriate peminserts for different jobs
  • Manual handling processes by way of moving materials
  • Keep the machine clean and functional
  • Assist in maintaining the inventory and the cleaninless of the work area
  • Liaise with the line manager or supervisor, reporting any issues, and making suggestions for improvements
  • Adhere to all H&S compliance
  • Safely setting the pressures to the correct levels on the haegar insert machine inline with the peminserts being used

Key skills and competencies:

You must be a team player with a positive attitude and self-motivated individual who produces high quality work, in addition to being able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience of reading and understanding engineering drawings
  • Team worker
  • Excellent communication & time management skills
