LONDON/REMOTE

£55,000-60,000 PER ANNUM
This growing E-commerce sportswear company are searching for a new Data Engineer. You will be responsible for maintaining the AWS-based cloud platform and building new Data Pipelines using Python.


THE COMPANY
This E-commerce Sportswear company are hiring for a new Data Engineer. The company are currently going through a huge expansion, on the back of their success in recent years. They are currently present in over 30 countries and are looking to expand further.


THE ROLE
Within the role itself, you will be responsible for maintaining the current AWS platform and cleansing the Datalake. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines using Python.

  • Deal with realtime data using Spark and Kafka.
  • Creating new Data pipelines using Python and SQL.
  • Work with the Data Science team, to make sure data is fit for use.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Great knowledge building new pipelines using Python and SQL
  • Commercial experience working within an AWSbased platform.
  • Handson experience dealing with realtime data using Kafka and Spark.
