Are you a dynamic and highly motivated classroom practitioner, and an excellent Scientist with a proven record of raising attainment?

The science department has 7 modern, bright laboratories which have been purpose built and are centred around the prep room.

We teach AQA combined and triple science and offer extracurricular activities to enhance learning.

You will be joining a talented team of Science teachers who are supportive, determined, hard-working and incredibly invested in the success of our students.

Joining our network allows opportunity for collaboration across our national Science Subject Network Group.

Maltings is a 11-16 academy based in Witham, Essex.

Situated between the city of Chelmsford and Colchetser, the academy has 900 students on roll and benefits from a purpose-built building that was constructed in 2011.

There are excellent transport links to London which enables our staff and young people to take full advantage of the wealth of opportunities that London provides.
