Summary of the role
Working within a team that focuses on a variety of automotive brands, this is an opportunity to work on a range of particularly fast paced accounts.
You will work closely with the clients' events team as well your own internal team, acting as a day to day contact and client advocate within the wider Strata agency.
We're looking for an enthusiastic individual who loves collaborating with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders to help the team deliver a busy calendar of events across the country.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with suppliers and key client contacts
- Data management and reporting
- Client facing: site visits / menu tasting / onsite management
- Managing and maintaining simple event registration websites
- Producing and distributing various communications, such as invitations, joining instructions and personalised itineraries
- Preparing welcome pack materials
- Ground transport management, such as airport and VIP transfers
- Accommodation management
- Simple (UK based) Venue sourcing, negotiation and contract
- Managing budgets, payments, POs and invoicing
- Management of events on site including managing operational teams, DMC's, venue, air travel and ground arrangements and transfers
- Budget creation and invoicing
About you
- At least three year's experience in the events or travel industry or a graduate
- Abiility to be reactive and multitask, handling multiple requirements and stakeholders
- Excellent reporiting and record keeping essential
- Commercial acumen. Budget management and accurate financial reporting
- Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office to intermediate level, advanced Excel is preferable
- A confident and persuasive communicator, able to work productively with your team and peers
- An overarching client service ethic
- Positive, highly organised, with a natural eye for detail
- Knowledge of disclosed agent / TOMS beneficial
