Description
Here at Anaplan, we have reinvented how companies see, plan, and run their businesses.

Our platform allows our customers to uncover new insights, connect their strategy to their plans, and work in ways they had not previously thought possible.

We're growing fast, constantly innovating, and couldn't be prouder to help our customers move forward with confidence in a sophisticated and changing world.

We are looking for forward-thinking people who put customer experience at the forefront of every decision. Individuals who thrive on challenges and are ready to grasp the opportunity of a lifetime. Because we fundamentally believe every colleague brings outstanding value to our whole.

We are a workplace where each person feels seen, heard, and valued, and can contribute their unique talent to our collective effort.

We believe that for ourselves and for our customers.

We're looking for a
technical content designer to join the
Content Services team in London
. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and tackle problems that no one else is solving, keep reading.

Your Impact:

Traditionally, this might have been called a technical writing role. It is. But it's so much more than that.

You're an individual who's hard-working, adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, and keen to engage with the latest thinking in content development.

The person in this role will quickly understand technical concepts and systems and then write quality copy that follows our style guidelines.

You'll use standard technical writing principles to create clear, unambiguous user documentation in a friendly, conversational style. We need you to write, write, write, and love doing it.

You'll have a strong interest in content itself - how you write it, how you structure it, and how you deliver it.

You'll be proactive and willing to share your ideas and play an active role in the wider team.

It's important that you can work within our values of innovation, accountability, collaboration, transparency, resilience, empathy, authenticity, and a desire to learn.

So, even if you don't tick all the boxes, we want to hear from you if you're curious, open to feedback, and have an interest in creating technical documentation that delivers simplicity in the face of complexity.

Your Qualifications:

  • Write technical documentation for our software platform. Those solutions might include written documentation, videos, infographics, walkthroughs, or API documentation.
  • Partner with other tech writers/designers and crossfunctional team members to ensure timely delivery of content.
  • Work closely with the team to provide consistent style and tone across all content by reviewing each other's work.
  • Plan and execute content, information requests, and tasks on time, and to the highest standards.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least two years' experience as a technical writer, preferably in a software environment.
  • Fluent in English with a wide vocabulary and strong grammar.
  • Comfortable working with complex systems.
  • Experience working with enterprise business planning or financial data.
  • Comfortable with the Agile development process, and basic knowledge of Confluence, JIRA, and GIT.

Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:
Build your job in a place that thrives on diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

We believe in maintaining a hiring and working experience in which all people are respected and valued, regardless of gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, citizenship, or any other aspect which makes people unique.

We hire you for who you are, and we want you to bring your true self to work every day
