Description
Our client is an established online retailer with a strong brand and a unique product range. They are currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Receivable Specialist on an initial 3 month temporary contract.

The Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a key role in supporting the Accounts Receivable team, coordinating and allocating inbound payments and supporting the team to strengthen the overall cash position of the business.

The role will involve frequent interaction with other senior stakeholders in the business


Day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Improving cash flow by allocating and coordinating inbound payments from national and international customers
  • Handling account queries including credit claims & rebates, investigating cases and establishing correct actions are implemented for resolution
  • Participating in team meetings with relevant departments and business leaders to minimise any issues resulting in late payment
  • Assist with reporting on debts over 90 days on a monthly basis, taking further action via legal department as necessary


In addition to previous experience in a similar Accounts Receivable / Credit Control Administration or Billings related position, the successful applicant will be strong with IT and systems in general.

Experience with using SAP or a similar enterprise accounting package would be advantageous.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines


This is a full time, interim position which is mainly office based, however there is scope for some hybrid working with 1-2 days per week at home.
