Our client:

Main purpose of the role:


In addition to ensuring a professional and welcoming front of house service to students, staff and visitors, you will be responsible for managing facilities issues, monitoring room bookings, supporting the Executive Assistants and logístical support forevents.


Main duties & responsibilities:


  • Acting as first point of contact for the UCL School of Management
  • Coordinating arrangements for visitors, including welcoming visitors for the School Director and other academic staff
  • Providing assistance for the induction of new staff, such as organising staff ID cards and demonstrating office processes
  • Acting as health and safety representative for the School
  • Assist in organising office relocations and refurbishment projects
  • Keeping student noticeboards and information in the reception area tidy and up to date
  • Sorting and distributing post and receiving deliveries
  • Issuing office keys to staff and visitors and maintaining the key storage box with record keeping and replacements
  • Ordering and maintaining stocks of stationery and other consumables for the School

Desired Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

  • Good general education to at least A-level standard or equivalent professional experience Essential Application
  • Knowledge of fire safety, health and safety regulations and facilities management issues
  • Demonstrable experience of providing excellent customer service
  • Previous experience of working within a similar receptionist/facilities support role
  • Ability to assess risk and troubleshoot facilities issues
