Requirements:
- Must possess a minimum of two years of UK experience as a qualified social worker.
- Must have postqualified experience of a minimum of two years.
- A valid Social Work England (SWE) Number
- Professional qualifications in Social Work such as a Diploma in Social Work, BA/BSc/MA in Social Work, or CQSW, as required by Social Work England, are mandatory.
- A minimum of five years of references are necessary.

Requirements A bachelor's degree or higher in Social Work and registration with the relevant professional regulatory body are required.Knowledge of the legislative frameworks governing child and family social work is essential, as is experience working in a statutory setting.
Understanding the impact of different parenting styles on child development and the development of resilience in the face of loss, change, and uncertainty is crucial.
Some experience working in a childcare setting, either through student placement, voluntary work, or paid employment, is preferred.Additionally, the ability to assess risk and need, plan and review outcomes, and work with service users who exhibit challenging behaviour is necessary.
The ability to recognise signs of various forms of harm to children, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse and neglect, as well as the consequences of cumulative harm, especially in terms of early indicators of neglect, is essential.
This role also requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to use technology effectively.
The ability to build and maintain relationships in challenging situations such as those involving resistance to change, ambivalence, or selective cooperation with services is also necessary.
The role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands. Additionally, the ability to use strategies that promote professional resilience and self-management in challenging situations is important.The job involves working alone in a home environment where basic hygiene and safety rules may not be observed, and the unpredictability of the home environment can pose a potential risk of abuse and violence.
It also involves working closely with individuals who have experienced all forms of child abuse, which can be emotionally challenging and distressing.
Due to the experiences and emotional state of service users, who may be anxious or distressed, the post holder may face significant verbal abuse, aggression, and other anti-social behaviours from service users and members of the public regularly.
