The Associate Director, Marketing & Communications, will own the marketing, digital and communications budget and marketing KPIs and will ensure insightful top-to-bottom of funnel reporting on marketing ROI.
You will balance out the best practices of marketing and overall company assets such as brand, website and product marketing, with the practical needs of the operational leaders.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team you will continue to shape our brand, Escode, driving marketing initiatives, leading on effective internal and external communications, and guiding on product development and innovation.
Key Accountabilities:
Marketing Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Accountable for smooth and timely delivery of key strategic Marketing projects i.e. campaign management, brand development and providing marketing input into wider businesses initiatives
- Collaborate with the Global MD for the function, the Group CMO and crossfunctional teams to set marketing goals and KPIs.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead a highperforming marketing and communications team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
Product Marketing & Development:
- Working closely with the product team to identify market needs and opportunities; conduct market research to gather insights for new product ideas and enhancements.
- In collaboration with the product team; manage the product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer expectations.
Internal Communications:
- Foster clear and effective communication within Escode to ensure alignment with marketing and business objectives.
- In collaboration with the People Team; implement internal communication strategies to engage and motivate colleagues
- Collaborate with the People Team as necessary to support employee engagement and culturebuilding initiatives.
- Accountable for communications adhering to brand tone of voice and brand identity within the function
External Communications:
- In collaboration with Group, develop the strategy for and oversee external communication efforts, including public relations, media relations, and corporate communications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all external channels, including social media, website, and press releases.
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations and project the company as a market leader and professional organisation
- Manage the relationship and performance of any external marketing agencies engaged by the company. Where necessary, help in the procurement and assessment of new external partners.
Functional and technical skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or equivalent experience
- Experience in conceiving, developing, and leading all aspects of Marketing, Digital, Social, PR communication throughout their full cycle with a demonstrable portfolio of works
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Experience in product marketing and launching new products.
- Exceptional leadership skills and team management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with and implementing CRM and CMS management platforms.
- CIM accreditation is advantageous
- Analytical and able to present data in a consumable way
