CMPS) is a mental health care company dedicated to accelerating patient access to evidence-based innovation in mental health.

Our focus is on improving the lives of those who are suffering with mental health challenges and who are not helped by current treatments.

We are pioneering the development of a new model of psilocybin therapy, in which our proprietary formulation of synthetic psilocybin, COMP360, is administered in conjunction with psychological support.


Location:
Home or Office based in the United Kingdom or the United States (East Coast or West Coast).


Reports to:
The Product Design Lead will report to the VP of Product of the DELTA team.


Roles and responsibilities:


  • Lead the design strategy for the organization and be an advocate for design processes.
  • Ability to lead highlevel project work from a design perspective autonomously and facilitate worksessions to help the product team deliver the best possible solutions.
  • Create detailed wireframes to illustrate the navigational flow and interaction design.
  • Provide detailed design specifications, user interfaces, and prototypes for new features.
  • Design holistic systems, flows and interfaces across mobile and desktop products for both therapists and patients.
  • Lead design reviews while creating a learning environment for designers and opportunity for other team members from varied backgrounds to become more familiar with design thinking and the design process.
  • Train, coach, and mentor our Product Design team.
  • Lead user research and usability tests while incorporating user feedback during the design and development process. Relay findings related to product development in a thoughtful and articulate way across the organization.
  • Ability to identify and measure user needs while working alongside product managers, members of our therapist training team and therapists working directly in the field.
  • Ensure a strong product design culture internally by continuously advocating for the needs of the user (i.e. patients, therapists, payers).

Profile:


  • Extensive experience of working in product design and with experience of leading a team.
  • Ability to lead broad initiatives, encourage diverse perspectives, and build alignment with crossfunctional partners and leads.
  • Experience working with Design peers across multiple product areas while collaborating effectively with Engineers, Product Managers, Content Designers, and Researchers.
  • Strong UX research and testing skills, such as needfinding, leading and analyzing user interviews, and conducting quantitative and qualitative product testing.
  • Expert in variety of UX design tools, such as Figma, Miro, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, etc. Keen understanding what tool to use in different situations.
  • Basic familiarity with HTML and CSS. Highlevel understanding of databases and software engineering practices a strong plus.
  • Experience in healthcare or pharma is a strong plus.
  • Strong research skills both in product testing and problem identification.
  • Passionate about accessibility and diversity in design.
  • Commitment to mental health and addressing disparities in healthcare.
