Multi-Trades Recruitment is looking for a Large loss claims handler for a well-established company in TONBRIDGE.About you:

- Minimum 5 years experience of handling Technical personal injury claims
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a capable and confident negotiator
- Time management and organization skills
- The ability to manage their time effectively and demonstrate great attention to detail
- Be capable of assessing evidence and making strong commercial decisions
- Have a proven track record in dealing with fasttrack and multitrack bodily injury claims including liability disputes.
- A good knowledge of indemnity, liability and quantum issues will also be useful
- Thorough understanding of.
- Personal injury claims (MOJ/Scottish and fast track)
- Advanced liability
- Fraud awareness
- Principles of indemnity
- Requirements under the RTA and Article 7
- Secondary education with qualifications in Maths and English, or demonstrable ability in numeracy skills & written English.
About the job:
- Monday-Friday (40 hours per week)
- Salary: £30,000
- Assessing indemnity, investigating liability and quantum on motor claims, ensuring that each claim is dealt with thoroughly to limit indemnity spend
- Communicating professionally to ensure our policyholders are treated fairly and that the customer receives worldclass customer service in accordance with industry and company guidelines.
- Proactively managing a caseload ensuring that correspondence and tasks are dealt within the SLA's
- Negotiating settlement of thirdparty claims
- Improve customer claims experience by identifying process/control gaps in legal defence panel performance and agreeing relevant actions.
- Maintaining a high degree of technical knowledge and to keep abreast of market and legal updates
- Support cost, service, and process efficiency projects across the department, as well as participating in departmental projects.
- Maintain resilience and composure to remain positive under pressure and in changing circumstances
- Demonstrate a desire to take ownership of your work and maintain excellent attention to detail
- Constantly seek and communicate improvements in how we deliver excellent customer service.
- Undertake any individual or team task in line with the company values
- Ensure a relevant level of technical understanding with continuous development and learning.
