Main Duties

  • Kitting of works orders, picking of spares, packing and shipping of finished products in line with production and customer demand
  • Maintaining stock accuracy at all times through use of EFACS system

Key Responsibilities

General -

  • To pick, pack and despatch spare parts and accessories, ensuring OTD is achieved
  • To kit works orders for production builds and release to shop floor in a timely manner
  • To maintain strict stock control using EFACS
  • To prepare finished units for shipment, pack as per given specification/requirement
  • To Conduct perpetual inventory checks
  • To conduct full inventory checks in accordance with stock take instructions
  • To maintain the highest level of housekeeping at all times and strict adherence to all HSE requirements
  • To raise nonconformances relating to quality of components & HSE incidents/discrepancies/near misses
  • To operate the fork lift and all other material handling equipment in accordance with the relevant risk assessment
  • Ensure any defects to handling equipment including racking, fork lift and any other piece of equipment are immediately reported to supervision.
  • Ensure the safe storage of all chemicals in line with the COSHH risk assessment COSHH assessment.
  • Provide absence cover for goods in role in stores

Qualifications/capabilities -

  • As this position involves a lot of standing and lifting of heavy weights and physical activity, the job holder needs to be fit
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Office 36
  • A fork lift licence is desirable
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate flexibility
