CWA have an incredible opportunity to join our team at our Wisbech campus for an Animal Care Technician in Animal Care on a full-time basis (part-time or job share considered).


Our specialist companion animal care centre is home to over 200 animals ranging from livestock, exotics and companion animals which includes birds, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals.

The role of Animal Care Technician is to work on a daily basis with the animals completing all husbandry needs and ensuring high standards of animal welfare, with part of the role supporting learners in practical sessions.


Our animal care courses ensure that our students leave us with the scientific, practical and administrative skills they need for their careers in animal care.

This campus is really all about the animals and has a real community feel to it. We are passionate about our animals and the education and training we provide to our students
- the next generation of animal care specialists.

We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England.

We have a thriving Additional Learning Support team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength.
