Description

We are seeking an experienced, committed Nursing Assistant to work with our hard working, supportive team on The Mary Anning Unit.

The post is permanent with internal rotation onto night duty and weekend working.

The Mary Anning Unit is a 46 bedded unit caring for older people; it has a number of patients with high nursing needs and acute illnesses.

We are committed to providing the highest level of patient centred care whilst supporting our staff to develop new skills as required.

To support the established Nursing team in ensuring the delivery and maintenance of a high standard of care that is patient centred and evidence based.

Undertake personal care duties, e

g:
toileting, washing, feeding.

Undertake observations on stable patients once competency attained delegated by the registered nurse.
Moving / transferring patients from bed to chair several times a day on every shift.
