General Operative Person - Groundsman:

Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Middlesborough

We have a great opportunity for
General Operative Person - Groundsperson in the Middlesbrough area.

Key Activities

To carry out groundworks for street lighting.
To ensure that the quality of works meets the Customer Standards and requirements

Skills, qualifications, and experience

Good communication skills
Hard working and committed to the role
To set up site in accordance with Chapter 8 of NRSWA Street Works Code of Practice
Ability to work on own initiative whilst maintaining a good quality output.
Be able to identify risks on site and report back to line management
Full driving Licence
Carry out groundworks for street lighting activities, e.g., trenching and reinstating, installation of chambers, digging holes for columns, pulling cable etc.
To fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Health & Safety Management Plans
To undertake such other duties, appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the Department / Service. Significant permanent changes in duties will require agreed revisions to be made to this Job Description
Previous experience of working within a street lighting role
