Kettering General Hospital Emergency Department is seeking a forward thinking and driven Clinical Fellow to join our friendly dynamic team.

The department has separate areas for resuscitation, major and minors and children's areas. We also have an excellent Nurse Practitioner service for minor injuries.

KGH is located just off junction 7 of the A14. Kettering, as a location, offers low house prices with access to the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside. There are excellent road and rail network links to and from London, East Midlands and Birmingham. The hospital has 600 beds and serves a local population of around 360,000. The Emergency department sees over 87,000 patients a year.

The Speciality Doctors, together with the SHOs and Trust Grade (SHO) doctors are responsible for the initial assessment, management and treatment of all patients presenting to the Accident and Emergency department.

The Trust Grade doctor will be required to assist in the day to day running of the department as directed by the Clinical Director.

The Trust Grade doctors will mainly be working on the shop floor seeing patients and supervising the junior staff.
