Account Director Responsibilities

  • Maintain excellent clientagency relationships with client stakeholders at all levels
  • Present major or complex project scope proposals, project and status updates, and creative work to clients, securing client's understanding, buy in and project approval
  • Producing written work such as project presentations, proposals, budgeted scopes of work, complex timing plans, reports and client comms for Senior Manager levels
  • Provide expertise, guidance and support for both junior team members, as well as team members in other disciplines to help them meet project goals and deliverables
  • Identify opportunities to delivery efficiency for the client, accurately estimating resource requirements and costings to ensure profitability
  • Monitor, reconcile and manage resource deployment against client projects
  • Maintain full financial responsibility across invoicing and reconciliations
  • Identify new growth opportunities to secure additional projects and scope with clients and new business, whilst also aligning with internal colleagues
  • Understanding the client's strategic goals, and supporting the development of strategic plans and responses to client briefs, demonstrating excellent understanding of client's strategic requirements by providing valuable inputs, insights and feedback forthe Strategy team
  • Write briefs for complex or major projects, whether for creative, analysis or strategy requirements and support more junior team members with producing their briefs
  • Lead the effective solution of problems, whether related to internal or client stakeholders and ensure the maintenance of the highest quality assurance standards with your colleagues
  • Support the professional development of SAM, AM, and AE team members, providing effective mentoring and leading the QPR process
  • Support the marketing of the Agency and be an ambassador online, at events and all other opportunities

Requirements:


  • Experience as an
    Account Director desirable, or minimum 2 year's experience at SAM level
  • Understanding of agency Client Services techniques
  • Excellent understanding of CRM principles and datadriven marketing best practices
  • Great communicator and great at building relationships with all
  • Leadership qualities, from supporting, guiding projects, mentoring and recruitment
  • Well organised, thorough attention to detail
  • Very good experience of of MS Office Suite (including Google Equivalents), Harvest and Forecast
  • Highly motivated to meet deadlines and the highest standards
  • Dedication and continuously seeking to improve the quality of your work
