£30,000, depending on experience, Harrogate, global brand, death in service x 2 salary,PMI, Employee Assistance Programme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Monday to Friday hours.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and proactive Production, Supply Chain or Materials Planner who has experience within a high volume-manufacturing environment to join an international business based in Harrogate.
As the Production Planner you will be responsible for:
Managing and producing long
- and short-term production schedules to achieve optimum production efficiency
Produce reports on production progress, work in progress and raw material inventory
Provide supplier forecasts
Work with forecast data, stock calculator and supply chain software
Determine appropriate stock levels by SKU for all finished goods
Plan and chair meetings to ensure all NPD, new SKU's, SKU changes, forecasting
Generate accurate BOM's
Collaborate with Technical, Production and Procurement departments to accommodate trials
Raw materials stock data analysis, supply planning and 'just in time' movement scheduling
Oversee third party warehousing and manage hauliers ensure high standards and KPI's are maintained
As the Production Planner you will:
Have a proven track record as a production planner, materials planner, scheduler or supply chain planning.
Preferably have a background in manufacturing or FMCG
Ideally have worked with SAP or similar
Previous experience working in a multi national environment
Have a logical and analytical approach to data analysis and problem solving
Have proven experience in positive people management.
Have effective communication skills
This production planner role would suit someone who has worked as a Production or Material Planner or within supply chain management with experience working in a large manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Benefits:
Basic Salary up to £30,000
On site position
Death in service, x 2 salary

Monday to Friday hours between the core hours of 8am-6pm
