About Our Client:

An NHS Trust in the outer East London area.


Head of Corporate Affairs:


Lead and manage the performance and direction of the team and will employ their highly developed specialist knowledge of governance and risk management to deliver the highest standards of corporate governance within the Trust.

The post holder will ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, the Trust's Foundation Licence, relevant legislation, and the Trust Constitution.


In collaboration with the Director of Corporate Affairs, the Head of will be responsible for developing and implementing corporate policies and governance systems with the potential to impact on the whole of the organisation and wider system partners.


The post holder will monitor and implement national policies and practices, formulate long term strategic plans, and will take a lead in developing and advising on corporate strategy, change management and business planning.


In collaboration with the Deputy Head of, the post holder will be responsible for the operation of the Trust's Charity, Freedom To Speak Up and Trust membership agendas, and will be responsible for the implementation of long-term strategies in respect of these for the Trust.

NHS compliance required ahead of start date, swift communication with the vetting team essential. Including, but not limited to, DBS, training modules, 3 years references.
