We are now recruiting an accurate, number loving FINANCE ASSISTANT to join and support our Finance team in delivering excellence in financial services and support.

Working 17 hours per week and reporting to the Management Accountant, every day will be different as you provide a range of administrative duties in both accounts payable and receivable.

This includes but isn't limited to:

Posting purchase invoices into ERP, job coding as necessary.
Maintaining electronic files of paid bills linking to invoices posted in ERP.
Creating supplier payment run for review by Management Accountant and Accounting Manager.
Reconciling supplier statements, ensuring timely invoice receipt and processing using GRNI review.
Ensure correct coding of customer invoices and payments in the ERP.
Reconciling outstanding account balances.
Preparing periodic reports on accounts receivable and past due status.
Assisting in monthend financial statement close.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL
To be successful, you'll have or be working towards:
GCSE Maths And English Grades A-C

Experience of working in a team environment providing finance administrative duties including:

Processing and reconciling purchase orders, general ledger and vender accounts.
Error spotting and reconciling across financial documents.
Posting, coding and data entry of invoice detail into data management systems.
Issuing of invoices and statements to customers.
Reconciling supplier statements, ensuring timely invoice receipt and processing.

You're also logical, result focussed, with a high attention to detail, an enquiring

mind and a want to continually improve both our products and yourself.
