Description:A growing construction business is looking for a Construction Administrator to join its team which is building a solid reputation within its specialist sectors of Healthcare, Education, Leisure and Law Enforcement. We are looking for an enthusiastic Buyer who wants to start a career within procurement / buyer for a construction company. As a Construction Administrator your responsibilities will include:
Purchasing materials and services across the company.
Plant hire management on sites.
Sub-contractor RAMS management.
Sub-contractor insurance management.
Compilation and submission of operations and maintenance files.
Cost management / supplier negotiations.
Answering the phones and being the 1st point of calls.
Taking responsibility for cost savings where possible.
General office administration duties.
We are looking for a Construction Administrator who has the following skills and experiences:
A high level of organisation.
Experience as a Buyer for a main contractor in construction preferred but not essential.
Excellent ICT skills particularly in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Excellent telephone manner and outstanding people skills.
In return, the Construction Administrator will receive a salary of £25,000 per annum plus benefits.
