Job description:

We design and manufacture tactical apparel and equipment, composite materials and armour for police and military in over 50 countries. We are a young, lively office, and we are growing fast. We are looking to add an Account Manager who will be part of a competitive sales team.

We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

The role will be:

Account management for the international market accounts

*

Effectively building, managing and maintaining long-term customer relationships at the highest level

*

Making outbound calls

*

Making pricing and margin decisions

*

Provide an accurate weekly Sales Forecast to Head of Sales

*

Log and update all opportunities & account activity on Salesforce on a regular basis

*

Plan all calls and tasks to ensure sales efficiency on a weekly basis

*

Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning

*

Cross selling and upselling of the products

*

Meet ambitious individual and team-wide sales quotas

*

Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)

*

Bid process for tenders

*

Account management for reseller accounts

The candidate should have:

*

Proven work experience as an Account Manager

*

Possess a drive, tenacity and motivation to succeed, whilst taking accountability for their decisions and actions

*

Confidence in communicating via telephone

*

Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain and develop relationships with a proven track record of success and growing business

*

Strong experience with CRM software

*

Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs

*

Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities

*

Strong verbal and written communication skills

*

A task orientated & process driven approach to work

*

Excellent rapport building skills

*

Excellent organisational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting

*

Self-motivation

*

Good attention to detail

*

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Education:

*

Formal degree/diploma

*

2-3 years of proven sales history
