You will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations as well as working with the team to get the job done while maintaining a safe working environment. You will be working within a team of 13, reporting to the Engineering Manager. This is a full-time permanent opportunity for a person that is looking for growth opportunities with our wider group. Duties and responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee the daily workshop operations. Build and recondition industrial reducers and geared motors. Assemble and Measure Bearing housings using hand tools. Inspect of bearing product for compliance. Maintain hire and training equipment. Assist the Engineering team with assembly and inspection work. General workshop duties as required. To be successful in this role you need: Sound mechanical aptitude and knowledge. Experience in workshop or fitting experience in industrial gearing is desirable but not essential. Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility with job tasks. Ability to participate in ongoing training and be open to new ideas. Proven safety and quality focus & Perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with Company's Health & Safety policies & procedures. Willingness to work as part of a team, and do whatever is required, to help achieve business targets. Why us?
