Occupational Health TechnicianOverviewRPS Occupational Health delivers extensive services to over 600 clients throughout the UK and Ireland. Our team is highly experienced in providing tailored Occupational Health solutions and offers support to a wide variety of industry sector clients. Services are either delivered onsite, in our mobile screening units, or from a national network of clinics. The roleWe are looking for an experienced OccupationalHealth Technician to join our leading Occupational Health Team, where you'll work under the remote supervision of both OH NurseAdvisors and OH Physicians. This role will see you supporting the service delivery ofhealth surveillance and fitness for work screening medicals across our Northern (UK) clients. You'll need to have a full UK driving license as there will be be extensive travel throughout the UK. We may also need you to complete overnight stays (Monday - Friday dependent on client requirements) You will be responsibility for a wide range of health checks including: Health Surveillance, Audiometry, Spirometry, Skin assessments, HAVS Tiers 1 & 2, Biological Monitoring (Obtaining samples), Fitness for Work medicals, Drivers, Working at height, Confined space and breathing apparatus, Vision (NDT) assessments, Venepuncture/Phlebotomy, Drug & Alcohol testing, Wellbeing Medicals, Health Promotion, Driving a mobile screening unit Nationwide (including UK & Ireland)Your skills/experienceYou will need to have Occupational Health experience including health surveillance and/or fitness for work medicals, be happy to and able to work autonomously and have first aid at work knowledge.What we offer youWe will provideyou with a flexible, friendly and creative environment to develop your skillsand challenge yourself.
