Job Title:SEM AnalystJob Description:OverviewThe SEM Analyst is a newly created role, sitting within our central search team and ensuring alignment between SEO and PPC strategies across markets. We are looking for someone who is very comfortable analysing data to generate actionable insight for our global automotive client across regions. The successful candidate will have the responsibility of working with SEO and paid search specialists to create synergy and optimum performance.Key Responsibilities Create and maintain SEM dashboards, requiring advanced use of Excel, Data Studio, or similar tools to provide a source of truth for the markets Identify, develop and own opportunities for improvement, testing, and innovation with paid and organic search. Produce regular reports and insights, to be presented to internal and external stakeholders with various levels of search experience, so will need to be comfortable adapting content and style to different audiences Knowledge sharing across regions is a key component of the role, with scalable tests and influence across multiple markets Stay updated on relevant industry innovations, and regularly share developments with team and client through education (e.g. changes to Google algorithm / Google Ads features) Work with Global SEO & PPC leads to ensure international implementation of SEM strategies Proactively review and update internal processes Train and educate the local dentsu X search and account teams on SEM best practices and the benefit of having an integrated approach Key Skills Keyword research Deep knowledge of PCC, features, and limitations at the global level. PPC campaign management Advanced excel and Powerpoint user Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills Advanced web analytics experience Knowledge of PPC landscape globally AB Testing, and other testing methodologies. Statistically significance and sample size calculation Understanding of technical SEO principles and Google best practice and translates business objectives. Digital marketing & performance knowledge Commercial and strategic acumen Fluent in English Secondary language: desirable Key Tools Google Analytics, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Search Ads 360. Excellent knowledge of Google Search Console Build and design Google Data Studio Nice to have: Adthena, AdGooroo, SEM Rush. Key Experiences PPC campaign management at the international level Worked on PPC SEO integration projects. Stakeholder Management Project delivery excellence Problem-solving Conflict handling What does success look like?
